“Patient 1281” is a 34-year-old man from central Ha Tinh Province. He landed at Van Don Airport on Vietnam Airlines flight VN5062 on October 31 and was quarantined in Hoa Binh Province. He is being treated at the northern province’s Hoa Binh Province General Hospital after his test result Sunday confirmed he was positive for the virus.
